Dickens World is a themed attraction based on the life and works of Charles Dickens and is a popular thing to do in Kent. The attraction offers an interactive, multi-sensory experience, whereby visitors can immerse themselves in the sights, sounds and smells of 19th century England. Visitors can enjoy a journey of discovery as they meet some of Dickens most well-known and best-loved characters. Dickens World could be an ideal thing to do in Kent in school holidays.
The attraction is NOT a theme park although there are some experiences to enjoy such as a long dark ride, the “Great Expectations” log flume. Other experiences include the Haunted House of Ebenezer Scrooge, a Victorian school room, a 4D high definition cinema show, “The Six Jolly Fellowship Porters”, a themed bar and restaurant, and Fagins Den, a play area.
