Book sessions in advance — most UK waterparks now operate timed sessions, especially during school holidays and weekends. Sessions regularly sell out so always book online before you travel.
Arrive early — the best slides have the shortest queues first thing in the morning. Arriving when the waterpark opens means you can ride the most popular attractions before the crowds build up.
Check height and age restrictions — most waterparks have minimum height requirements for larger slides. Check in advance so you know which slides your children will be able to go on — it avoids disappointment on the day.
Bring the right kit — most waterparks require proper swimwear rather than board shorts or baggy swimming trunks on certain slides. Check the dress code before you go. A locker is usually available for your belongings.
