Tips for Booking a UK Holiday Park

Check what’s included in the price — some parks include use of swimming pools, gyms and entertainment as standard while others charge separately for these facilities. Always check before booking so you know exactly what you’re getting.

Look at the accommodation grades — most parks offer a range of accommodation from standard to premium or platinum. Upgrading to a higher grade often means more modern fittings, a better location on the park and extras like a dishwasher or hot tub.

Book early for school holidays — the best pitches and lodges at popular parks sell out months in advance during half term, Easter and summer. If you have school-age children, get your booking in early.

Consider travelling off-peak — holiday park prices drop significantly outside school holidays. September is particularly good — the weather is often still warm, parks are quieter and prices are lower.
