Planning a UK City Break

For a first visit, two or three nights is usually enough to see the main attractions without rushing. Choosing accommodation near the city centre can also make a big difference, especially in places where many attractions are within walking distance.

If you’re travelling with children, it is worth having at least one indoor attraction in reserve for wet weather. For couples, theatre, restaurants, live music and evening attractions can turn a sightseeing trip into a proper short break.
