


When you visit Petworth house you can view masterpieces by Turner, Van Dyck and Titian, be amazed by the the Grinling Gibbons carving in the Carved Room, experience life “below stairs” in the historic kitchens, still room, and winter dairy, take long walks in 700 acres of Capability Brown landscaped parkland, and explore the Pleasure Garden, which includes a restored 18th-century folly and a Roman-style temple.
Children can enjoy seasonal trails, sensory bags, running around in the open spaces and enjoy having a picnic in one of the many spots in the park .
Afterwards there is always the visit to the Audit Room Café for locally sourced food and drink, with both indoor and outdoor seating available and then shop for Souvenirs.
National Trust members get free entry to the house and park, while non-members can buy tickets for the house.
