Best For: Families and Ice Cream Fans
This route follows the Ayrshire coast and is perfect for a sunny day.

  • Morning: Start at Kelburn Castle & Country Centre to see the graffiti and explore the Secret Forest.
  • Lunch: Head five minutes north into Largs. Grab a world-famous ice cream at Nardini’s and walk it off along the promenade to see The Pencil monument.
  • Afternoon: If it’s sunny, stay at the beach. If it rains, head into the Vikingar! museum right on the seafront.
  • Bonus Stop: If you have time, hop on the 10-minute ferry to the Isle of Cumbrae for a quick cycle.
