- Food & Drink: There is a small coffee bar inside the main reception selling light snacks and hot drinks. For a larger meal, there are plenty of family restaurants and supermarkets just a short walk down the road.
- Safety Gear: Long sleeves, long trousers, and gloves are strictly mandatory for anyone using the slopes to protect against friction scrapes. Helmets are provided and must be worn.

The centre is located right next to the River Dee, which features lovely riverside walking and cycling paths. It is also close to the David Lloyd Leisure Complex and the popular Garthdee Retail Park. If you want to head into the city center for museums or shopping afterwards, it is only a brief drive away.
