This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for paid advertising, sponsored listings, featured adverts and similar paid placements on UK Holiday Breaks.
This policy should be read together with our Terms for Advertisers, Privacy Policy and Website Terms and Conditions.
Submitting an advert enquiry does not guarantee that your advert will be accepted or published.
All adverts are subject to manual review before publication.
Payment does not mean that your advert will automatically appear on the Website. We review advert enquiries, payment details, advert content and the requested placement before publication.
We reserve the right to accept, refuse, edit, delay, suspend or remove adverts at our discretion.
We may refuse an advert if it is unsuitable for the Website, incomplete, misleading, unlawful, offensive, poor quality, irrelevant to the page, inconsistent with the purpose of the Website, or likely to cause harm to visitors or the Website.
If you contact us to cancel your advert before we have reviewed, prepared or published it, we will normally provide a refund.
If work has already started on reviewing, preparing, editing or setting up the advert, we may deduct a reasonable amount to reflect the work already carried out, where permitted by law.
If we refuse your advert before publication and no suitable alternative placement or edit can be agreed, we will normally refund the payment.
We may refuse to refund where the advert enquiry or submitted material is fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, deliberately misleading or clearly in breach of our Terms for Advertisers.
Once an advert has been published, refunds are not normally available unless required by law or agreed by us.
If you ask us to remove an advert before the end of the agreed display period, we may remove it, but this does not automatically entitle you to a full or partial refund.
You are responsible for checking that the advert information you provide is accurate and up to date.
If you notice a mistake, please contact us as soon as possible.
We may correct minor errors where practical, but we are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect, incomplete or outdated information supplied by you.
We try to keep the Website available and working properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Short periods of maintenance, technical problems, hosting issues or temporary disruption will not normally result in a refund.
If a significant technical problem prevents your advert from being displayed for a substantial part of the agreed period, we may, at our discretion, extend the advert period, move the advert, offer an alternative placement or provide a partial refund.
We may remove or suspend an advert if:

The linked website becomes unsafe, misleading or unsuitable
Payment is reversed, disputed or not completed
We receive a complaint
The advert becomes inaccurate or outdated
The advert may harm visitors, the Website or our reputation
We are required to remove it by law, regulation, payment provider rule or platform policy
If removal is due to a breach by the advertiser, no refund will normally be due.
If a payment is disputed, reversed, charged back or reported as unauthorised, we may suspend or remove the advert while the issue is investigated.
You must contact us promptly if there is a payment issue.
Some customers may have legal cancellation rights when buying services online or at a distance.
Where legal cancellation rights apply, we will comply with those rights.
If you ask us to begin reviewing, preparing or publishing your advert before the cancellation period has ended, you may lose the right to a full refund once the service has been partly or fully performed.
