Glastonbury Festival – Wednesday, June 23 to Sunday, June 27, 2027

Glastonbury is one of the world’s best-known music and performing arts festivals.

The Festival is Cancelled for 2026.

It is usually held in early summer and includes music, theatre, comedy, dance, arts and many different performance areas and will return in 2027..

Leicestershire

Download Festival is one of the UK’s best-known heavy music festivals and is strongly associated with rock, metal, punk, alternative, emo, hardcore and classic rock.  It is usually held in June and attracts visitors looking for heavier music, major bands and a large outdoor festival atmosphere.

Line-Up Highlights

Download Festival 2026 is headlined by Limp BizkitGuns N’ Roses and Linkin Park. The official Download announcement says all three headline the Apex Stage, alongside a line-up of more than 90 artists.

Isle of Wight Festival – Thu, 18 Jun 2026, 8:00 am – Sun, 21 Jun 2026

Isle of Wight

The Isle of Wight Festival  is one of the best-known British music festivals and usually offers a broad mix of pop, rock, indie, dance, classic acts and newer artists. Because it is held on the Isle of Wight, travel planning is more important than for many mainland festivals, especially if you need ferry travel, camping or accommodation.

Line-Up Highlights

The Isle of Wight Festival 2026 headliners are Lewis CapaldiCalvin Harris and The Cure. The official festival announcement says the 2026 event is sold out and names those three as the headline acts.

BST Hyde Park – Saturday, June 27 to Sunday, July 12, 2026

BST Hyde Park is different from a normal camping festival. Instead of one continuous weekend with camping, BST Hyde Park is made up of separate large concert days across late June and July. Each date usually has its own headline act, support artists, ticket types, food areas and premium options.

TRNSMT – Friday, June 19 to Sunday, June 21, 2026

Glasgow

TRNSMT is a major city-centre music festival held at Glasgow Green in Glasgow, Scotland. It is a non-camping festival, so it works differently from weekend camping festivals such as Download, Reading and Leeds or Creamfields. TRNSMT is better suited to people who want a big festival atmosphere during the day and evening, while staying in Glasgow or travelling in and out each day.

Reading and Leeds Festivals – Thursday, August 27 to Sunday, August 30

Reading and Leeds Festival 2026 is one of the UK’s biggest paired music festivals, held over the same weekend at two different sites: Richfield Avenue in Reading and Bramham Park near Leeds.

The two festivals share much of the same line-up, with artists usually appearing at both sites on different days. Reading has a more town-centre feel, while Leeds is in a larger parkland setting outside the city.
