Bath Abbey is a magnificent Grade I listed Anglican parish church and former Benedictine monastery. Known as the “Lantern of the West” due to its 52 windows covering roughly 80% of its wall space, it serves as a central spiritual and historical landmark in the city.

Where it is: It is located in the heart of Bath, Somerset (BA1 1LT), right next to the Roman Baths and the Pump Room.
Transport: The Abbey is a 10-minute walk from Bath Spa railway station. Using the city’s Park & Ride is recommended over driving due to limited central parking.
