Splashdown Poole is an “all-action” water park located at the Tower Park Leisure Complex in Poole, Dorset. It features 13 indoor and outdoor flume rides and dedicated splash zones for younger children, making it a popular year-round destination for families.
What You Can Do
Thrill Rides: Brave high-speed slides like The Screamer (descend 40m in under 5 seconds), Velocity (30-foot steep drop), and Baron’s Revenge (vertical drop in total darkness).
Unique Experiences: Ride Infinity, which features music and laser lights as you slide into a giant bowl, or navigate the Mississippi Drifter on a single inflatable tyre.
Younger Kids: Children under 7 can use Buccaneer Splash, an interactive play area with water cannons and a starter flume.
Relaxation: Visit Captain’s Cove for a bubble bench and Jacuzzi, or lounge on the seasonal Sun Terraces.

Planning Your Visit
Duration: Most visitors spend 3 to 4 hours at the park. Tickets are typically sold in 2-hour or 3-hour slots.
Best Suited To: Families with children of mixed ages. While there are toddler zones, the park is most enjoyed by confident swimmers and children aged 9+ who can access all the larger flumes.
Best Times to Go:
Quiet Times: First thing in the morning (9:00 AM – 10:00 AM) or late afternoon (after 3:30 PM) are generally quieter.
Weather: It is a top choice for rainy days since many rides are indoors, though it gets very busy during wet weather in school holidays.
