Settle – Carlisle Rail Line

The Settle-Carlisle Scenic Rail Line is widely considered the most beautiful train journey in England. It stretches between Settle (BD24 9AA, North Yorkshire) and Carlisle (CA1 1QZ, Cumbria), cutting right through the heart of the Yorkshire Dales and the North Pennines. This is a Standard train, not a steam heritage train.
