
If you’ve ever wanted to sit in a pilot’s seat or see a nuclear bomber up close, you’re in for a treat! South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum, is a fantastic, hands-on day out. It’s located on the historic site of the old RAF Doncaster airfield, and rather than everything being behind glass, it’s a place where history feels very “hands-on.”

Because it’s located near the Lakeside area, you can easily combine your visit with other nearby fun. You’re right next to The Dome, which has a great fun pool and ice rink, and the Lakeside Village for food and shopping.
