Hawkstone Park & Follies is a sprawling, rugged fantasy woodland located in Shropshire. It isn’t your typical manicured park; it’s a massive 18th-century “pleasure ground” built into high sandstone cliffs, full of narrow gullies, caves, and towering viewpoints.

Expect a proper outdoor adventure. You’ll be hiking through deep clefts in the rock, squeezing through dark tunnels, and exploring a genuine hermit’s cave. The “Follies” are quirky stone structures and monuments scattered throughout the hills, including a massive limestone arch and a tall column you can climb for incredible views across several counties.
