Milky Way Adventure Park – Clovelly

The Milky Way Adventure Park is an award-winning, family-owned theme park in North Devon known for its all-weather appeal and variety of attractions that cater to all ages. Located just off the A39 near Clovelly, it is roughly 10 miles from Bideford and 15 miles from Bude.

What to See and Do
The park is split between extensive indoor facilities (over 110,000 sq ft) and outdoor activities.
Rides: Experience the Cosmic Typhoon rollercoaster, the Droid Destroyer Dodgems, and the Gravity Rider 30ft donut slide. Younger kids can enjoy the Cosmic Caterpillar and the Milky Way Railway.
Interactive Attractions: Save Earth on Ziggy’s Blast Quest, an interactive laser ride, or test your skills in the Ninja Stars games arena.
Shows: Watch breathtaking displays at the North Devon Bird of Prey Centre (available Easter to October) or catch live performances by entertainers like Merlin from Britain’s Got Talent.
Play Areas: Huge indoor soft play zones like Planet Play are designed for both adults and children, while Little Stars is dedicated to children aged 0–6.
Sci-Fi Exhibit: Explore a large collection of Star Wars memorabilia and sci-fi characters.

Who Should Go and When
Target Audience: It is designed for families with children of all ages, from toddlers to teens. Adults are also encouraged to participate in most rides and play areas rather than just watching.
When to Visit: As an all-weather attraction, it is a top choice for rainy days. Most visitors spend about 5 to 5.5 hours at the park. It is recommended to arrive early to beat the queues.

What Makes it Unique
All-Inclusive Value: Unlike many parks, all rides and shows are included in the single entrance fee, allowing for unlimited turns.
Interactive Rollercoaster: Ziggy’s Blast Quest is unique in the UK as a fully enclosed, interactive indoor powered coaster.
Family Heritage: It has been family-owned for over 40 years, maintaining a friendly, relaxed atmosphere that focuses on different generations playing together.
