Quince Honey Farm is a family-run, award-winning working honey farm and tourist attraction. It offers an immersive experience into the world of beekeeping, from flower to jar.

Location & Setting
The farm is located just off the A361 near the historic market town of South Molton in North Devon. It is situated on a 54-acre site known as “The Gateway to Exmoor”.

What You Can Do & See
The Honey Factory: Take a guided tour to see honey production behind the scenes and participate in honey tasting sessions.
Beekeeping Demonstrations: Watch experts open a live beehive from behind protective glass in The Bee Shed.
Nectar Gardens: Wander through unique hexagonal-themed gardens planted specifically with bee-friendly flowers.
Hands-on Activities: You can roll your own beeswax candle or plant bee-friendly seeds to take home.
Play Hive: A large indoor soft play area and outdoor adventure park for children.
Nature Trails: Explore the meadow trails, apiary fields, and a lake.

Who Should Go & When
Who: It is marketed toward families, senior citizens, and groups. It is highly accessible for wheelchair users and is dog-friendly (except in the indoor play area).
When: The attraction is open daily from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM (later in school holidays).
Spring/Summer: Best for live beekeeping demonstrations and seeing the gardens in full bloom.
Autumn/Winter: Tours continue with virtual demonstrations and indoor activities.

What Makes it Unique
Quince Honey Farm is home to the first known gardens and woodland in the UK planted specifically for bees. It also features the world’s most extensive honeybee exhibition, including unique opening hives that allow you to see millions of bees up close safely.

Tip: Arrive early to catch the morning talks and demonstrations, as late arrivals may miss out on scheduled events despite paying full price.
Free Entry: The Quince Honey Farm Shop and award-winning Nectary Restaurant are free to enter without an attraction ticket.
