Canonteign Falls
Canonteign Falls is a spectacular 90-acre private estate located in the Teign Valley on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, Devon. It is home to England’s highest man-made waterfall, Lady Exmouth Falls, which plunges 70 metres down ancient rock formations.

Waterfalls: Explore two sets of falls (natural and man-made), including the 70m single-drop Lady Exmouth Falls.
Lakes & Gardens: Wander through seven interlocking lakes and the Victorian Fern Garden, which holds National Plant Heritage status.

Who: Ideal for families (best for children 4+ due to steep paths), nature lovers, couples, and dog owners (dogs on leads are welcome everywhere).
Accessibility Note: The waterfall walk is not suitable for prams or wheelchairs. Baby carriers are available for hire.
When: The attraction is seasonal and typically open from March to November. For 2026, it opens on 11th March. Summer is popular, but early morning or late afternoon visits help avoid crowds.
