Mallory Park Race Track

Mallory Park is a legendary motor racing circuit located in the village of Kirkby Mallory, Leicestershire. Known as the “Little Lakeside,” it’s a compact, punchy track that packs a lot of action into a small space.

What’s the Vibe?
This place is all about speed and engines. Unlike the massive, sprawling GP tracks, Mallory is small enough that you can see a huge chunk of the racing from almost any vantage point. It’s famous for the Gerards bend—a long, sweeping right-hander that tests a driver’s mettle—and the hairpins that make for some pretty dramatic overtaking.

Who Will Love It?

• Adults & Petrolheads: This is your playground. Whether you are watching superbikes, vintage cars, or monster trucks, the atmosphere is loud and thrilling.
• Teenagers: Usually, they’ll enjoy the noise and the proximity to the cars. It’s a great spot for budding photographers or anyone into engineering.
• Children: Young kids will definitely be “wowed” by the noise and the fast cars, but it is loud. You’ll need to keep them under close supervision as it’s a high-octane environment with moving vehicles and crowds.

• Time Spent: Most visitors stay for a full day (around 4 to 6 hours) depending on the race schedule.
• Hands-on Fun: While there isn’t a massive theme-park style playground (any play area is a small add-on), the real draw for kids is the open paddock policy often found at club meetings, where you can walk right up to the cars and meet the drivers.
