Crich Tramway Village

Crich Tramway Village is a charming, nostalgic escape nestled in the hills of Derbyshire. It’s essentially a reconstructed period village where the stars of the show are the vintage trams that actually trundle up and down the tracks.

The main draw is the unlimited tram rides. You get an old penny to “pay” for your first ride, and you can hop on and off different trams all day. The line runs for about a mile out into the countryside, offering great views over the Derwent Valley. Back in the village, there’s a period street with a pub, a sweet shop, and a tearoom.
