3-day camping
2-day camping
3-day non-camping

Creamfields’ official ticket information says there are no pass-outs at the festival. Once your ticket has been scanned on entry, if you leave the site, you will not be allowed to re-enter. It also explains that only certain ticket types allow access on Friday, including 4-day camping, 3-day camping, 3-day non-camping, 2-day non-camping Friday/Saturday, and Friday day tickets.

A recent festival guide gives example pricing of from around £75 excluding fees for a one-day general admission pass and around £310 for a four-day weekend camping ticket, but prices and fees can change and should always be checked through the official ticket provider before booking.

Getting There

Creamfields is held at Daresbury in Cheshire, between Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington and Chester.

Because it is a large festival, travel planning matters. Visitors may arrive by car, coach, taxi, shuttle or train connection depending on where they are travelling from.

Useful travel points to check before setting off:

Nearest practical railway stations
Official coach or shuttle options
Taxi and drop-off arrangements
Driving routes
Road closures
Festival entrance gates
Arrival times for camping and day visitors
Return travel after the festival

Creamfields is a large rural festival site, so do not rely on turning up without checking the latest travel advice and entrance information.

Parking

Parking is available, but you need to check the correct parking rules for your ticket type.

The official Creamfields information says general car parking passes are available either in advance or on arrival. It also states that Gold parking is only for Gold ticket holders and is not available for separate purchase.

Another Creamfields parking information page says free parking is included for Gold and Silver ticket holders and for those who have booked Dreamfields accommodation.

Before travelling, check:

Whether your ticket includes parking
Whether you need to buy a parking pass
Which car park you should use
Gold, Silver or general parking rules
Drop-off and pick-up points
Accessible parking
Road closures and arrival routes
Whether you can leave and re-enter the car park

For a major festival weekend, it is worth saving your parking and arrival instructions on your phone before travelling.

Camping

Creamfields is a major camping festival, but it also has non-camping ticket options.

Camping arrangements can vary by ticket type. If you are staying in Pre-Pitch or Dreamfields accommodation, you still need the correct festival ticket unless you have booked a package that specifically includes festival entry.

Creamfields’ ticket information says everyone staying in Dreamfields accommodation must have a 2, 3 or 4-day Creamfields Camping ticket to gain entry, unless they have a Dreamfields Hotel booking where festival tickets are included. It also says Pre-Pitch requires a 2, 3 or 4-day Creamfields Camping ticket and that standard camping ticketholders are not allowed access to Pre-Pitch.

Camping options may include:

Standard camping
Bronze camping
Silver camping
Gold camping
Pre-Pitch
Dreamfields
Luxury camping
Hotel packages where available

Before booking, check exactly what your ticket includes. Do not assume accommodation includes festival entry unless the official booking page clearly says it does.

Food and Facilities

Creamfields is a large festival site, so you can expect food traders, bars, toilets, water points, welfare support, medical facilities and accessibility arrangements. The exact layout and rules can change, so check the official festival information before travelling.

Before you go, check:

Food and drink rules
Bar and payment arrangements
Toilets and showers
Accessibility facilities
Medical and welfare points
Bag restrictions
What you can and cannot bring
Phone charging
Festival map or app
Camping supply options

The official Creamfields site notes that Click and Collect Camping Supplies 2026 are available, which may be useful if you want to pre-order camping essentials rather than carry everything from home.

Good to Know Before You Go

Creamfields has strict re-entry rules, so make sure you understand your ticket before you travel.

The official information says there are no pass-outs. If you have a camping ticket and leave the festival site, you will not be allowed re-entry. If you have a day ticket and leave, you will not be allowed re-entry. If you have a 2 or 3-day non-camping ticket, you will not be allowed re-entry on individual days, but you will need the next day’s ticket to enter on the following day.

Before travelling, check:

Your ticket type
Entry day and time
Camping access
Parking pass
Re-entry rules
Age and ID requirements
Weather forecast
Bag rules
Food and drink restrictions
Digital ticket access
Phone battery and charging
Return travel plans

Creamfields’ terms also emphasise no pass-outs, no re-entry and no refunds, subject to the event’s terms and cancellation policy.

Where to Stay

If you are travelling from outside the area and are not camping, it is worth arranging accommodation early, especially for the August Bank Holiday weekend.

For hotels, cottages, holiday parks, last-minute breaks and other accommodation ideas, see our Where to Stay section.

Nearby Attractions and Alternatives

Creamfields is the main reason to visit during festival weekend, but there are other places nearby if you are staying longer or travelling with people who are not attending every day.

Nearby ideas include:

Warrington
Runcorn
Chester
Liverpool
Manchester
Norton Priory Museum and Gardens
Walton Hall and Gardens
Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet
Delamere Forest
Catalyst Science Discovery Centre

If the weather is poor before or after the festival, Liverpool, Manchester, Chester, shopping centres, cafés and indoor attractions can be useful. If the weather is good, nearby parks, gardens and Cheshire countryside can add variety to the trip.
