What to Expect and Enjoy
Note on Name Change: Long known to locals as Auchingarrich Wildlife Park, this attraction has recently been officially renamed Perthshire Zoo.
The park is famous for its relaxed, interactive atmosphere and stunning panoramic views of the surrounding hills. You can wander through the enclosures to see a wonderful mix of exotic and native animals, including playful meerkats, lemurs, wildcats, and marmosets. The absolute highlight for families is the indoor petting barn, where little ones can get hands-on and cuddle baby rabbits, guinea pigs, and fluffy chicks. Outside, there are fantastic adventure play zones, outdoor flying foxes, and a brilliant indoor soft play barn that serves as a perfect escape if a sudden rain shower sweeps over the hills.
