Newham Grange Farm is very much open and remains a fantastic, traditional working farm that has been around since the 17th century. It is a major hit for families and friends looking for a wholesome day out in Middlesbrough.

You’ll find a brilliant mix of animals and play areas that keep everyone entertained. For the animal lovers, there’s everything from classic farm favourites like pigs, sheep, cows, and horses to more unusual residents like wallabies and llamas. One of the real highlights is the petting barn, where you can get up close and personal with adorable rabbits and guinea pigs. If you time your visit for the spring, usually around April, you might even get the chance to bottle-feed the newborn lambs.
