Go Ape Aberfoyle

Situated in the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, Stirling (FK8 3SX), this is home to two of the longest zip wires in the UK, flying you high above the forest floor and a 90-foot waterfall.

What to Expect and Enjoy

  • Tree Top Challenge: This is a high-ropes course with platforms, rope bridges, and zip lines.
  • The Big Zips: The highlight is definitely the two massive zip wires that take you right across the valley with incredible views.

  • Duration: The full challenge takes about 2 to 3 hours.

Height and Age Guidance

  • Restrictions: You usually need to be at least 10 years old and 1.4m tall for the main challenge. There is also a weight limit (usually 20.5 stone).

Helpful Tips for Your Visit

  • Parking: There is a large pay-and-display car park at the Lodge Forest Visitor Centre.
  • Clothing: Wear sturdy shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting a bit muddy or sappy from the trees!
  • Savings: Booking in advance is much cheaper. They often have groups or family discounts.
