Braehead Leisure Complex

Located in Renfrew, just outside Glasgow, this is a massive silver building right on the river. The postcode is PA4 9HU. It is a “one-stop-shop” for indoor adventure.

What to Expect and Enjoy

  • Snow Factor: (Note: Check status as some parts rotate, but generally home to a massive indoor real-snow slope for skiing and sledging).
  • Gravity Active: A huge trampoline park with dodgeball courts and slam-dunk zones.
  • Climbzone: One of the tallest indoor climbing walls in the UK, plus an “aerial assault” course that hangs from the ceiling.
  • Bowling & Cinema: A massive Odeon and a Tenpin bowling alley.
  • Laser Station: A multi-level arena for laser tag.

Best For and Time Spent

  • Best For: Teens and families. It’s the ultimate “rainy day” destination.
  • Duration: You can easily spend 4 to 6 hours here if you do two or three activities.

Helpful Tips

  • Parking: Huge amounts of free parking in the multi-story and outdoor lots.
  • Food: It is packed with restaurants (Nando’s, Five Guys, TGI Fridays). It can get expensive, but it’s very convenient.
