Leisure Pools (Olympia, Perth, and Lochee)
These are your best bets for a dedicated “pool day” with the family, offering much more than just a place to swim:
- Olympia (Dundee): This is a huge leisure complex near the waterfront (DD1 3JU). It features four high-speed flumes, a rapid river, and a wave pool, making it a “must-do” for kids and teens.
- Perth Leisure Pool: Located in the city centre (PH2 0HZ), it’s one of Scotland’s most popular pools, featuring wild water flumes, a “monkey jungle” for toddlers, and an outdoor lagoon.
- Lochee Leisure Centre (Dundee): A slightly smaller, community-focused pool (DD6 1AY). It’s fantastic if you want a quieter swim or have very young children, as it’s often less crowded than the larger leisure centres.
