What to Expect and Enjoy This is a place where you can easily spend an entire day because there is so much variety.
The Train Safari: Everyone’s favourite! A narrow-gauge train takes you around the park to see and feed the animals, including deer, llamas, and Highland cows.
Go-Karts and Tractors: There are tracks for pedal go-karts and mini-tractors which are a hit with both kids and competitive parents.
The Fortress: A massive multi-level wooden play fort with tunnels, slides, and bridges.
Sledging Hill: Even in summer, you can grab a plastic sledge and whizz down the artificial grass hill.
The Animals: You can get up close to farm animals like pigs, goats, and sheep. They often have bottle-feeding sessions for lambs in the spring.
Best For and Time Spent Designed specifically for families with children (from toddlers up to early teens).
Duration: Most visitors spend 4 to 6 hours here. It’s very easy to make a full day of it.
Helpful Tips for Your Visit
Parking: There is a huge free car park on-site.
Food & Drink: There is a large café serving hot meals, but the park is very “picnic friendly” with hundreds of outdoor and undercover benches.
Clothing: It is right on the coast, so it can be breezy. Wear “farm-friendly” shoes that you don’t mind getting a bit dusty or muddy.
Savings: Booking online is usually cheaper than paying at the gate. If you live nearby, their annual passes are very good value.
