Anstruther Pleasure Boat Trips

The Famous Fish and Chips: You can’t visit Anstruther without hearing about the famous Anstruther Fish Bar. It’s often very busy with long queues, but there are several other excellent chippies and cafes around the harbour that are just as tasty.

The Scottish Fisheries Museum: Right on the harbour in Anstruther, this is a brilliant indoor option if the weather turns. It’s much more interesting than it sounds, with old boats you can actually go inside.
Coastal Walk: Anstruther is on the Fife Coastal Path. You can easily walk to the neighbouring village of Pittenweem (about 30-40 minutes), which is incredibly pretty and famous for its art galleries.
