St Andrews
St Andrews is one of the oldest and most prestigious golf clubs in the world and is regarded as the worldwide "Home of Golf". Formerly, it was also one of the governing authorities of the game, but in 2004 this role was handed over and it is now simply a golf club.
There are 7 golf course and 2400 members from all over the world. The club does not own any of the St Andrews courses, despite the common misconception, and must share the tee times with members of other local clubs, residents and visitors alike.
Inchcolm island boat trips take you under the Forth Bridge and to Inchcolm Island. Inchcolm Island is by far the most beautiful of all of the island in the Firth of Forth. It is located 4 miles east of the Forth Bridge.
Anstruther Pleasure Trips will take you to the Isle of May which is a National nature reserve. The best time to see seabirds such as Puffins, Guillemot, Razorbill, Cormorant, Shag, Eiderduck and many other types of seabird is to visit between April and August. There is also the possibility of encounters with Porpoise, Dolphin or Whale that frequent these waters. When you land on the island you can visit the remains of a 12th century monastery and also the oldest lighthouse in Scotland.
Scotland had a Nuclear bunker that was kept secret for over 40 years. The bunker was capable of sleeping 300 people in 6 dormitories. The bunker is the size of two football pitches, one on top of another, 100 foot underground. The tunnel entrance was hidden beneath an innocent looking Scottish farmhouse.
Today, the bunker is open for viewing. Visitors can now walk down the 150m entrance tunnel and through the hermetically sealed 3 ton blast proof doors to explore the living quarters that contained a BBC studio, Chapel and 'hot bed' dormitories.
Deep Sea world has a large collection of sharks and a long 112 metre walk through tunnel. There are interactive fun sessions daily and staff are always available to make your visit as exciting and informative as possible.
St Andrews Aquarium has a fantastic coastal location with stunning views of West sands and St Andrews bay. The Aquarium has black tip reef shark, seals, penguins, meerkats and more than 100 fish species. Each day they have interactive demonstrations which include penguin feeding at 2pm, reptile & spider handling sessions, and an informative talk and feeding sessions the meerkats.
The centre provides guided tours, trailer rides and they also have bird of prey demonstrations. Guests can also watch wildcats, otters and wolves during feeding times.
Cluny Clays is a sports and adventure park that offers a range of activities such as clay target shooting, archery, segways, golf driving range, 9 hole golf course and golf coaching and adventure play areas.
Craigluscar activities include quad bikes, hovercraft, tractor driving, Hagglund snowcat and Clay pigeon shooting.
The Royal Burgh of Culross is a place that has changed little since the 17th and 18th century. The town house was built in 1626 and was originally the admin centre complete with a tollbooth and witches prison! This is Scotland as it was centuries ago.
The fruit farm is a well established family run business and great effort has been made to make this an enjoyable place to visit. In the summer a giant Maize Maze is created that covers approximately 3 acres. The maize eventually grows to about 8ft high and will later be used as animal feed. The farm has many other activities that children will enjoy such as tractor rides, trampolines etc. For adults there is the fruit farm, cafe and holiday cottages for accommodation.

The museum is at Lathalmond near Dunfermline and has almost 200 vehicles. The museum is open every Sunday from Easter until the first Sunday in October. The entrance fee includes a guided tour.
This is a fantastic Indoor and Outdoor adventure golf complex similar to those found in Florida. The course is landscaped with pirate ships, waterfalls, palm trees and straw huts. Great fun.
