Emma Bridgewater Factory

The Emma Bridgewater factory lies in the heart of the historic Stoke Potteries region, on the banks of the Caldon Canal. You can enjoy a factory tour, try your hand at decorating a piece of your very own unique pottery, relax and stay for lunch or enjoy an afternoon in the garden behind the factory.

Gladstone Pottery Museum

Gladstone is the only complete Victorian pottery factory from the days when coal-burning ovens made the world's finest bone china. Explore the cobbled yard, with huge bottle kilns and take part in daily workshops.

Etruria Industrial Museum

Eturia is the last steam-powered potter's mill in Britain. The mill is only used 7 times a year so check before visiting to ensure you see it in operation.

Alton Towers

Alton Towers is probably the most famous of the UK theme parks. The park has plenty of extreme rides all set in beautiful parkland. For those who want to travel with the family but avoid the rides you can enjoy a walk around the ruins of the tower building, take a cable car trip across the park to enjoy the views or just stroll around the fantastic parkland, woods and lake.

Drayton Manor & Zoo

Drayton Manor Theme Park theme park is packed with great rides and attractions and is set in 280 acres of lakes and parkland. Drayton Manor features some of the biggest, wettest and scariest rides around! Drayton Manor Zoo is home to over a hundred species from throughout the world

Water World

Water World is one of the UK's top Tropical Indoor Aqua Parks. The Facility is built around a wave pool with slides, rides, flumes and includes an indoor water roller coaster. There is plenty to do for all ages, weak and strong swimmers. Waterworld attracts over 400,000 visitors a year making it a leading visitor attraction in North Staffordshire but also a very busy place.

Snowdome

The SnowDome is the UKs premier real snow centre and the leading choice for skiers and snowboarders. Real snow, all year round, provides the ultimate Alpine surface. The main slope is 170 metres. There are two smaller slopes ( 30 metre and 25 metre teaching slopes) and a wide variety of skiing and snowboarding lessons and sessions are on offer. Tution is from professionally qualified instructors and caters for all ages and abilities. The centre also has other activities such as ice skating, swimming and a gym.

Monkey Forest - Trentham

Monkey Forest in Trentham is set in 60 acres of beautiful Staffordshire woodland and meadows. Visitors enter the area and are greeted by 140 free-roaming Barbary macaques and experience close-up encounters with these animals. The animals will frequently stroll infront of you or walk along rails at the side of paths.

Peak Wildlife Park

Peak Wildlife Park is a small zoo with a large wildfowl collection. The zoo has a large flock of geese, swans, pelicans, storks, flamingos, penguins as well as reptiles, lemurs and other animals.
