Brean Leisure Park has over 30 rides and attractions, including roller coasters such as dark ride, Astro Storm, Shockwave - the giant looping rollercoaster and favourites such as river boat rides, roundabouts, waltzers, mini coasters and dodgems. There are also gentler rides such as pony rides for young children.

The Centre has qualified, experienced and friendly instructors, a challenging 165 metre dry slope and a tobogganing slope, all set in a scenic woodland setting on the edge of the Mendip Hills.

The centre has a range of other activities including: Archery, Climbing and Abseiling, 4x4 driving, Power kiting, Mountain boarding, Air rifle and Orienteering. The activities can be combined in an 'Action Day'.

Explore @ Bristol is a place where science is brought to life. The centre has hundreds of hands-on exhibits to explore, live shows and a Planetarium. Some of the activities include walking through a tornado and covering yourself in a giant soap bubble!

Bristol zoo has 9 animal houses so is a great place even on rainy days. Regular daily events include talks with keepers, animal encounters and feeding time. Planning your visit will help you see as many scheduled events as possible.

A visit to the cave system includes a guided tour. The caves contain storage for the famous Cheddar cheese. Outside there is a Fairy garden, dinosaur trail, Circus museum, paper making demonstrations, a show, small hall of mirrors and a crazy golf course. The exhibit even has a hotel with a roof shaped like a witches hat.

Check out the hotel prices as it did include free tickets to the attraction on our visit and may be the best way of visiting. Great day out for kids.

On the the dockside cargo, cases and crates are waiting to be loaded. The whole atmosphere that you would have experienced has been recreated for you to enjoy.
