Morgan Cars Factory Tour

Morgan Cars having been making sports cars for over 100 years in the spa town of Malvern. Here is your chance to see how they are made by taking a guided tour and see skilled craftsmen at work as they hand make fantastic bespoke sports cars. Traditional car manufacturing combined with exciting cutting edge technology creates a tour like no other!

West Midlands Safari & Leisure Park

West Midlands Safari & Leisure Park has the only pride of white lions in the UK. The safari park also has a number of other animals including elephants, rhinos, tigers, wolves, buffalo, wallabies and wild dogs.

A popular activity is taking a guided mini-bus tour but booking is recommended to avoid dis-appointment. Special foods are available for an extra charge and this gives you the opportunity to feed some of the animals.

The theme park also has dozens of rides to choose from that are suitable for all the family. Rides include traditional rides pirate ships, roller coasters, dodgems, slides, ghost trains etc.

The Cotswolds

Worcestershire mainly lies between the Malvern Hills and the mellow Cotswolds and includes the village of Broadway, one of the Jewels of the Cotswolds.

The Broadway Tower is a unique Capability Brown feature open to visitors. The Tower provides a fantastic viewpoint at 1024 ft above sea level in which to see the surrounding Cotswold countryside. Visitors are able to see a 62 mile radius that covers 16 counties on a clear day. The tower itself is on 3 floors with a roof-top viewing platform.

Severn Valley Railway

The Severn Valley Railway is a heritage steam railway running between Kidderminster and Bridgenorth. The train stops at Hampton Loade, Highley, Arly and Bewdley. Visitor can leave the train to visit local attractions. Hampton Loade offers passengers the opportunity to cross the river in the unique current powered passenger ferry which is the last in England. Visitors can then walk to the Dudmaston Estate and Hall. There are many places suitable for picnics.

Droitwich Spa Lido

Droitwich Spa Lido is a 44 yards by 22 yards heated swimming pool with a 'beach' area at one end. The pool is open during the summer months and is set in surrounding parkland.

Worcester Cathedral

Worcester Cathedral is an Anglican cathedral overlooking the River Severn. The Cathedral offers a tour at 11am and 2.30pm Monday to Saturday, April to end of November (subject to events in the Cathedral) and it is also possible to go up the tower (weather permitting). The cathedral holds King John's tomb.

Go Ape - Wyre Forest

Wyre Forest is an area of gentle rolling hills, meandering rivers, steep wooded valleys and very ancient woodlands. Generally the area is popular for walking, mountain biking, horse riding, golf, fishing and canoeing. Go Ape is set in a 6000 acre forest with massive Oak and pine trees. The whole area area is great for a weekend break in a beautiful area.

Go Ape activities involve tree top crossings, tunnels, bridges and zip wires. The experience usually takes about 2-3 hours. You will be trained in the use of harnesses, pulleys, carabineers and various safety methods by qualified instructors. Afterwards you will navigate through the tree top obstacle course to eventually finish on a brilliant zip-wire descent. Fantastic fun.
